The Thousand Incarnations of the Rose

Hello!

It’s an incredible honor to announce I’ll be playing The Thousand Incarnations of the Rose coming up April 13-15. The festival takes place in Takoma Park, MD (hometown of John Fahey) and brings together rare appearances of luminaries such as Peter Lang, Harry Taussig, and Peter Walker alongside younger players expanding on the rich lineage of American primitive guitar. In addition to live music, there will also be panel discussions, previously unseen live footage of artists like the late great Jack Rose, and the D.C. premier of documentary Voice of the Eagle: The Enigma of Robbie Basho. To learn more about the festival and it’s inspiration, check out this excellent feature.

I hope you can make it to this very special event!

Warmly,

DPG
