Happy to share ‘Field Session °3: Battery Townsley’, the latest in an ongoing collaboration with cinematographer and bud, Ian Albert, celebrating the natural surrounds of the greater SF/Bay Area. Battery Townsley is nestled along the bluffs of Marin Headlands overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Aside from its spectacular setting, the battery has incredible acoustic resonance, making it a great space to explore sound-based work. Special shout-out to the starlings singing along with me.

Finally go the chance to sit down and record this tune… I’ve been playing it out for a little while now and am happy to be able to share it with folks, near and far. I like to think of it as a companion to the material from my last album “Furniture Music”. Hope you enjoy it and happy Spring to you!
