I’m very excited to head out to Albuquerque New Mexico this Friday for my dear friend Billy Joe Miller’s show of new works entitled WAKE. In addition to creating many lovely new flat works for the show, he has also carefully curated a CD compilation featuring several previously unreleased tracks of mine as well exclusive music from members of A Hawk and a Hacksaw & Deerhoof, Coconut, Twig Palace, Jordan O Jordan, and others. All music was written with the spirit of the Fall season in mind. The event will be split in two: an opening at 5G North Gallery from 6-9p followed by live music next door at Kosmos starting at 9p. Billy has graced both of my album’s Fountain & In Search of Light with his beautiful artwork. It’s a real honor to be there and to be a part of this moment in time. If you happen to live in and around the Albuquerque area or know folks who do, please come on out and help spread the good word!
